Why consistency matters

Google compares what your website, your Google Business Profile, and the directories say about your business. An old phone number or a different business name on one listing can confuse customers and make your details harder to trust. The fix is to keep the same details everywhere.

What is included

Listing work is part of our optional monthly plans:

  • Local Presence, $199 a month: basic listing monitoring, which is a monthly check of your name, phone, and website on a short list of major directories
  • Growth Plus, $449 a month: citation monitoring, with fixes for minor inconsistencies

Each plan includes the work of the plan above it. Your website package also starts you off consistent: Standard includes a written review of your existing Google Business Profile, and Growth includes a one-time cleanup of an eligible profile.

BBB and Chamber of Commerce

Applications to the Better Business Bureau and your local Chamber of Commerce are quoted separately, because membership fees are paid by you directly to those organizations.

Some work is larger than a monthly plan covers: major citation cleanup, extensive directory campaigns, and backlink building. We quote these on their own.

Rules we follow

  • We never create a fake address. Service-area businesses can hide their address on Google if customers do not visit them there.
  • We keep your business name, phone number, and website consistent everywhere we manage.

What we cannot promise

Consistent listings support trust and accuracy. They do not guarantee a ranking. Local results depend on competition, reviews, your location relative to the searcher, and time.

Do I need to be listed on lots of directories?

Not usually. Accurate details matter more than the number of listings. A short list of major directories with correct information is a sound start, and larger campaigns are quoted separately.

Is BBB or Chamber of Commerce membership included?

No. Applications are quoted separately, and membership fees are paid by you directly to those organizations.

How much does listing monitoring cost?

Basic listing monitoring is part of the Local Presence plan at $199 a month. Citation monitoring with fixes for minor inconsistencies is part of Growth Plus at $449 a month. See the monthly plans page for what each plan includes.
